Opening an Umbrella for a Line of Defense Against Human Trafficking
Sunday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. all women of the church are encouraged to participate in our “Intercept the Traffickers Photo Campaign” by opening an umbrella on the church lawn. A picture will be taken as we raise awareness of human trafficking.
Human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry in the United States. To express our belief that we can help survivors of human trafficking live as whole persons, the United Methodist Women are forming a line of defense to raise awareness, a circle of protection to prevent exploitation of women, children and youth everywhere. We invite you to join us by Opening an Umbrella.
