Music is an important part of the ministry of our church.

Ages 12 to adult
The adult Chancel Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:30. Led by Dr. Pamela Wurgler, Chair of Murray State University’s Music Department, this extremely talented group sings each Sunday during the 11:00 service.
The handbell choir rehearses each Wednesday evening at 6:30. Members of the handbell choir range in age from 9th grade+. The handbell choir leads worship during the 11:00 service by playing preludes, hymns, and other special pieces. This lively group is led by Joan Bowker.
Kindergarten through 3rd grade
Children ages K – 3rd grade participate in Children’s Choir rehearsal on Wednesday evenings during HIS KIDS. This lively group of kids shares special music during morning worship approximately every 6 weeks. They also participate in a Children’s Christmas production that is performed annually with the 4th and 5th graders.
Preschoolers are invited to meet with Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchins each Wednesday evening for Cherub Choir rehearsal. While at rehearsal, children sing and learn new songs, create crafts, and share in an evening meal. The Cherub Choir performs during the Sunday morning worship service approximately every 6 weeks and at other special holiday events such as the Annual Hanging of the Green and the Children’s Christmas production.
